Reeves-Reed Arboretum will host folk-pop singer-songwriter Ginger Winn on Wednesday, Sept. 2, wrapping up its Sounds of a Summer Night concert series for 2026.

Gates open at 6 p.m. at 165 Hobart Ave. in Summit. The performance begins at 7 p.m. Attendees can bring picnic dinners, blankets and lawn chairs to the family-friendly show.

The Sept. 2 date is a makeup. The arboretum canceled Winn's originally scheduled July 15 appearance because of weather, according to the arboretum's event page. The rescheduled concert adds a fifth Wednesday evening to a series that originally listed four performances running from June through August.

Winn, 26, is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from Charleston, South Carolina, now based in New York's Hudson Valley. She released her debut album, Stop Motion, in 2024, according to her website.

The Sounds of a Summer Night series is sponsored by Summit Elks Lodge #1246, a longtime supporter of the arboretum. The lodge was also among the donors to Reeves-Reed's "A Path for All" accessibility project, a capital campaign that raised more than $1 million, according to Union News Daily.

This summer's lineup included the Ryan Hernandez Jazz Trio on June 24, The Vintage Vibe Tribe on July 29 and Sound Bite on Aug. 26, according to local media coverage of the arboretum's programming.

Concerts are rain or shine.

Performances move indoors during bad weather, and the arboretum advises checking reeves-reedarboretum.org for updates.

Tickets are available in advance at reeves-reedarboretum.org or at the gate starting at 6 p.m. on Sept. 2. Based on pricing for other concerts in the series, admission is free for arboretum members and children under 3, $10 for non-members and $5 for students. Student tickets must be purchased at the gate.
