Whether you're launching a business, growing an existing one, or looking to make new connections, Union County's annual Means Business Expo is returning this fall.

The free networking event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Downs Hall at Kean University, 1000 Morris Ave. in Union.

Hosted by the Union County Board of County Commissioners, the expo brings together local business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, community organizations, and service providers for an evening of networking and collaboration.

"This event has become a valuable gathering place for the people and organizations driving our local economy," Commissioner Chairman Joseph C. Bodek said in announcing this year's expo.

Businesses that want to showcase their products or services can reserve a vendor table for $100. The fee includes a color advertisement in the event program and 10 VIP raffle tickets. Vendor setup begins at 2:30 p.m., and registration closes Monday, Sept. 1.

The Union County Means Business Expo launched in 2016 and is organized in partnership with local chambers of commerce, community organizations, and colleges.
