Too Old For That, a New Jersey-based improv comedy troupe, performs a one-night show at Serra Doce Café, 21 Union Place in downtown Summit, on Thursday, July 9, from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 before fees ($28.52 through Eventbrite) and include one coffee, latte, tea, or specialty drink; one pastry (allergy-friendly option available); the full unscripted show; and 10 percent off additional purchases. Seating is limited. Organizers recommend buying in advance.
Marcus Ippolito, the event organizer, described the format as, "Coffee. Pastries. Comedy. Chaos." Every scene is built from audience suggestions on the spot.
Serra Doce is a family-owned Portuguese café. The troupe's next area show is Wednesday, July 15, at Crossroads, 78 North Avenue, Garwood ($10 at the door).
