Summit city offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 12, and drivers can park free all day in municipal lots, garages and on-street spaces.
The city posted the holiday notice on its website, designating that day as a parking holiday. No fees will be required at any municipal parking location. Short-term parking time limits will still be enforced, according to the city's calendar listing.
Trash and recycling collection will run on its normal schedule.
Residents who need city services should plan ahead for the closure.
